# VTracer for johnmcm.com

The WebAssembly tracer behind johnmcm.com's Image to SVG page (/image-to-svg).

It is [VTracer](https://github.com/visioncortex/vtracer) by visioncortex
(Chris Tsang and contributors), MIT OR Apache-2.0: the project's own
wasm-bindgen core (`nodejs/` in its repository), built unmodified from tag
`1.0.0-alpha.4` (commit `2500df76b5aea0ac22d15296b22722442f825c5b`) with
wasm-pack for ES modules and WebAssembly SIMD. The page decodes the image in
the browser and calls `vectorize_rgba(pixels, width, height, options)`.

- `Dockerfile`: the build, with the Rust image pinned by digest.
- `Cargo.lock`: the crate versions of the first build, used by every build after.
- `build.ps1`: runs the build and copies `vtracer.js`, `vtracer_bg.wasm` and
  the licence to `frontend/vendor/local/vtracer@1/`.
