Trim, join, clean up and change songs and recordings, turn speech into text and text into speech, all in your browser.

Recordings are personal in a way that is easy to forget: a voicemail, a dictated letter, an interview, a doctor's appointment someone taped so they would not miss anything. Sending one to a website to trim it or turn it into text hands over the conversation itself. Every tool on this page does the work in your own browser.

The Audio Trimmer cuts a clip out of an MP3, WAV, FLAC or M4A on a waveform and adds fades, and the Audio Joiner merges tracks into one at a single loudness, with gaps or crossfades and chapters. The Pitch and Tempo Changer moves a song to a different key or slows it down without changing the pitch, with an A-B loop for practising a passage. Remove Background Noise takes hiss, hum and room noise out of a voice recording or a video with an AI model of about 10 MB, downloaded the first time.

Audio to Text runs OpenAI's Whisper speech model in the page and writes a transcript with timestamps, or subtitles, in 99 languages, and Text to Speech goes the other way, reading text aloud in natural American, British and Spanish voices and saving it as MP3 or WAV. Both download their model the first time - tens or hundreds of megabytes, depending on the model you pick - and the browser keeps it after that.

For specialist formats, DSS to MP3 turns Olympus, OM System and Philips dictation into MP3 or WAV for a typist, and the CUE Splitter cuts a one-file FLAC, APE or WavPack album into tagged tracks using its cue sheet, or an M4B audiobook into MP3s by chapter. All free, with no account.
