Files from EAGLE 6.0 (2011) to the last version, 9.6, and from Fusion's EAGLE export, which use EAGLE's XML format. Files saved by EAGLE 5 and earlier use an older binary format that this page cannot read; opening them once in EAGLE 6 or later converts them.

Why do copper pours look like outlines?

EAGLE stores a pour as its outline and works out the filled copper - clearances round every pad and track - when it runs Ratsnest. The page shows the outline lightly filled instead, so you can see where each pour is and which net it belongs to.

Can I get Gerber files for manufacturing from it?

No - it is a viewer. To make Gerbers, open the board in KiCad (free), which imports EAGLE boards and schematics and exports Gerbers, or use the CAM processor in EAGLE or Fusion.

Is my board or schematic uploaded anywhere?

No. The board and schematic are read and drawn by your browser, so an unreleased product stays on your computer.

About this EAGLE viewer

EAGLE was the circuit board designer of choice for hobbyists, makers and small companies for twenty years: open-source hardware from SparkFun, Adafruit and Arduino was published as EAGLE .brd boards and .sch schematics. Autodesk ended EAGLE on 7 June 2026, steering users to Fusion's electronics workspace, a subscription. So downloaded designs, old projects and boards from a contractor can no longer be opened just to see what is on them.

This page reads EAGLE's file format itself, in your browser, and draws the board layer by layer - copper on both sides, pads, vias, silkscreen, outline - or the schematic sheet by sheet, with every symbol, pin, net and label. The parts list gives each part's value, package and attributes such as manufacturer numbers, and saves as a spreadsheet for ordering. The file is never uploaded. It is free to use, with no account and no upload limit, and it runs entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded, and while the page stays open, a feature you have already used keeps working offline.

Drop the .brd file, the .sch file, or both, onto the page.
