Make a video of holiday photos, a birthday or wedding montage, a memorial slideshow or a product reel, with music, ready for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or a TV. Online slideshow makers upload every photo, and the free ones stamp a watermark on the result or cap its length; this one makes the video on your computer, with neither. It is free to use, with no account and no upload limit, and it runs entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded, and while the page stays open, a feature you have already used keeps working offline.
- Is there a watermark or a limit on length?
- No watermark, and no set limit on the number of photos. Photos are read a few at a time, so even hundreds of them do not fill the computer's memory. The finished video is held in memory until it is saved, so very long slideshows (more than about an hour at 1080p) may be too much for a browser tab; up to an hour of music can be added.
- How do I make the slideshow as long as the song?
- Add the song, then press "Time the photos to the music": each photo's time is set so the slideshow ends with the song. Otherwise a longer song is faded out when the photos end, and a shorter one repeats if you tick "Repeat".
- Which size should I choose for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube?
- Portrait 9:16 (1080 × 1920) for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts; square (1080 × 1080) for Instagram posts; landscape 1080p (1920 × 1080) for YouTube, a TV or a laptop. Photos of a different shape can fill the frame (their edges are cropped) or be fitted whole over a blurred copy of themselves.
- Can I use photos from an iPhone?
- Yes. HEIC photos from an iPhone are read directly, turned the right way up, as are JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and GIF files. A GIF shows its first frame.
- What kind of video file does it make?
- An MP4 with H.264 picture at 30 frames a second, and the music as AAC (or Opus, in a browser that cannot make AAC), which plays on phones, computers, TVs and every website. It is encoded by your browser; Chrome, Edge and Safari can make every size, and Firefox may need the smaller 720p size.
