Why is the print time different from my printer's?

The page shows the slicer's own estimate when the file has one, which is usually close. Without it, the page adds up distances and speeds, which ignores acceleration and so comes out shorter than the real print. Printers also slow down for small layers and cooling, which no estimate fully knows.

Can it open .bgcode files from PrusaSlicer?

Not yet. Binary G-code (.bgcode) is a compressed format for Prusa's MK4, MINI and XL. In PrusaSlicer, untick Printer Settings, General, Supports binary G-code, and export again to get a plain .gcode that opens here.

Can I open a Bambu Lab print file?

Yes. Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer export sliced plates as .gcode.3mf files, which hold the G-code inside; this page reads it and lets you choose the plate. A .3mf project that has not been sliced holds only the model: open it in the 3D Model Viewer instead.

Is my G-code uploaded?

No. The file is read and drawn by this browser tab on your own device, which also means a big file opens as fast as your computer can read it.

About this G-code viewer

A slicer such as Cura, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer or Bambu Studio turns a 3D model into G-code: thousands of short moves telling the printer where to go and how much filament to push. Before you spend hours printing it, it helps to see exactly what it will do - whether the supports are where you want them, whether a thin wall came out, how the first layer sits - and to check the time and filament it needs.

This page reads the G-code and draws every line of the print in 3D, coloured by what the slicer says it is: outer and inner walls, infill, top and bottom layers, bridges, support, skirt and brim. Move the slider to step through it layer by layer, or show one layer on its own. It also reads the slicer's own estimates, its preview picture and every setting it saved. CNC router, laser and plotter toolpaths open too. The file is read on your computer and never uploaded. It is free to use, with no account and no upload limit, and it runs entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded, and while the page stays open, a feature you have already used keeps working offline. To look at the model before slicing, open the STL or 3MF in the 3D Model Viewer.

How to view a G-code file

Drop the .gcode file on the box above, or click to choose it. Big files show their progress as they are read.
Drag to turn the view, scroll to zoom and right-drag to pan. Top view looks straight down at the bed.
Move the layer slider to see the print build up, and tick Only this layer to see one layer alone.
Untick a kind of line in the list to hide it, or tick Travel move to see where the nozzle moves without printing.
