How does it count words?

By runs of non-space characters, which is what nearly every word counter does and what a word limit usually means. Expect a small difference from a word processor, which applies its own rules to hyphens and numbers.

What does Dedupe lines do about order?

It keeps the first occurrence of each line and drops later repeats, leaving everything else in place. Sort first if you want the result alphabetical as well.

Is Title Case clever about small words?

Accepted Answer

It capitalises each word. Editorial title case, which leaves "of" and "the" alone in the middle, is a judgement call no tool gets right - read the result before you use it.

Can it generate placeholder text?

Yes. Choose paragraphs, sentences or words, set how many, and optionally start with the traditional "Lorem ipsum" opening.

No. All of it happens in the page, so pasting a draft, a client list or anything else unpublished is safe.
